Established in 1909 as Virginia Printing, Inc., Charlottesville Press Inc. has been a part of the printing industries technology boom for almost 100 years. From a small Kluge letter press in 1938, to our Polly 4-color press in 2002, Charlottesville Press has kept stride with the ever changing world of printing. After its purchase in 1979 by Rodney Thomas, the company experienced an 1800% business growth within 5 years, and turned the six person print shop into a twenty-two employee total printing facility.
